The Fattoria Palagina is above all an educational farm where kids can interact with the animals and the nature that surround them. The visit, in the form of a fun treasure hunt in which the clues are provided by the animals, is guided by Giulia. She is an agronomist and has a real passion for her job and for children, so she guides them with enthusiasm to discover donkeys, calves, goats and chicks among the others. Children can see the hives of the farm and learn about the process of honey making as well as the different vines grown there. They take care of the vegetables grown in the farm’s orchard and even make a pizza with the tomatoes and the zucchinis from the farm! In short, an immersive experience in the countryside during which children have fun, socialize with each other and learn a lot! The aim is above all to teach them sensibility and respect for nature.

Each animal of the farm has a name: there are Nutella and Ricotta, the two calves, Saetta (Bolt) the goat, Raffaele & Gilda the two Tuscan pigs, Anacleto the goose chick .... However,an animal in particular immediately conquers the children and follows them step by step like a dog ... it is Chicca, a wild boar puppy found in the olive grove and immediately adopted by the Palagina Farm!

At the end of the visit, parents can taste the wine produced in the farm’s cellars while the little ones receive the 'Good Peasant' certificate!

Fattoria Palagina is located just 30 km from Florence, along the wine route and on the beautiful Tuscan hills.
