About Me

Ciao! My name is Alessia and if you’ve ended up on this website, you are probably planning a trip to Florence and Tuscany.

If you want to live Florence not as a mere tourist, but as a local, you are in the right place! I am a licensed tour guide with more than fifteen years of experience in this field. Florence and Tuscany are my home, my passion, and I was so lucky I could turn them into my job! After a university degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, I decided to become a tour guide of Florence, the city where I live, and Lucca, my favourite city of Tuscany, after Florence, obviously!

All my love for the history, art, good food and culture of my city is in every guided tour I give.

There are some places in Florence that are absolutely inescapable, such as the Duomo, the Uffizi and the Academy Gallery and Ponte Vecchio. However, my guided tours can be customised according to your needs. I can also accompany you to genuinely Florentine districts and include activities in venues that are so dear to the locals. I love sharing the hidden gems of Florence with my guests and help them to fall in love with the city doing the same things that locals do, like going for a glass of wine at one of the most suggestive terraces of the city or enjoy a fluffy cappuccino in one of the coolest bars on the southern bank of the river Arno.

If shopping is something you love doing while in a foreign country, forget about the chain stores and come with me to some of the most beautiful craftmen workshops and markets of Florence! 

Lucca is my second home and the place where I like going to relax and do some good shopping while Chianti is where I go to enjoy a glass of wine with my friends and fill my eyes with the view of the splendid hills of Tuscany. 

I am an avid lover of everything Florentine and  Tuscan, so I got to know them like the inside of my pockets and that’s why I never stop studying and I'm constantly on the lookout for new experiences to be able to offer to my clients.

In my free time my main passions are reading and travelling. I enjoy exploring  the world and learning about different countries and cultures through the many people I meet working as a guide. Travel and hospitality are huge part of my life and one of the main reasons I started this career.
